With a bit of rain at the end, the The San Bernardino Forestry Challenge Session 2 went off without a hitch! We had 99 students from 14 schools in attendance. The focus topic was Next Steps in Reforestation at Hubert Eaton Scout Reservation. Students collected data in two units undergoing reforestation and determined what next steps will lead to that goal, including planting more trees and controlling brush, and setting up a budget for that work.
